Each counselling session costs $155 for an hour, and $78 for a half hour

You can discuss topics that you are comfortable discussing. During the first session we will discuss some background and your current concerns.

You will receive an email with a link to the virtual session. If you are using your mobile device for this session please download the Jane Online Appointments app from the App Store. If you are using a laptop Google Chrome works best. Please be in a quiet and distraction free room.

You will receive a phone call at the scheduled time of your appointment. Ensure you are in a distraction free and confidential space.

Payment is due immediately after the session unless I am direct billing to your insurance. If you are paying out of pocket only E-transfer is accepted for payment.

Insurance plans I can direct bill to are: Cooperators, Blue Cross, NIHB, Green Shield, Indigenous Service Canada, Victim Services, Canada Life, GMS, Group Health, Manulife, and many more.
Many other insurance plans will allow you to be reimbursed for your counselling sessions with a registered social worker, but it’s always best to check with your insurance.

NIHB provides mental health and addiction counselling for Indigenous People. Every 12 months, eligible clients can receive up to 22 hours of counselling performed by an eligible provider on a fee-for-service basis (such as, individual, family or group counselling). Additional hours in the same 12 month period may be provided on a case-by-case basis.
I can direct bill to NIHB. Please note if you're eligible when inquiring about an appointment. At the time of the first session I will need your status number.

If you know someone who is a MMIW or attended a Residential School you may be eligible for 20 hours of covered counselling sessions. Please ask me for more information.

Cancellation policy is 12 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment. This policy is to ensure there is enough time to arrange another client appointment for that time slot. You will be billed the full price of the session if there is less than 12 hours notice.

Yes, I can do referrals to treatment centres upon your request and readiness for treatment.

I can’t diagnose mental health disorders nor can I provide prescriptions. I can guide you to the appropriate services in your local area.

No it’s not necessary to have a doctor’s referral for counselling services.

No, I provide services to individuals ages 16+ and require both parents or guardians signatures.
